I took to Google to find a shower filter that would be easy to install and easy on my pockets and found the Aquasana Premium Shower Filter. After the first use my hair felt noticeably cleaner, softer, and looked more lively overall. My hair soaked up product better, leaving my curls more defined.

Although it’s a bit pricey, (the replacement filters will run you $50+) your hair will thank you. Curly hair can get costly, but the results are in— shower filters are worth the splurge.
Before using the shower filter my hair was stringy, my curl pattern was significantly less defined towards the ends, and my golden blonde highlights were dull.
