I’ve been hearing about Briogeo’s products for a few months now so I was excited to get a sample of their Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! a deep conditioning treatment.
After shampooing, I added the Don’t Despair, Repair! into my hair and worked it thoroughly through my hair from root to tip. The instructions say you can leave this treatment in for 3-5 minutes before rinsing it out but I always prefer to do a deep conditioning treatment after a wash.
I put my shower cap on and then a steamed towel to create heat and left it on for 30 minutes while I watched the Brazil vs. Chile World Cup match (which was awesome by the way!). Once done I washed it out and assessed my hair. I can always tell if my hair takes to a product because it feels soft and moisturized. This product left my hear feeling neither super soft or hard. It honestly felt like nothing happened. Now, that’s not to say it didn’t do its job, i just couldn’t tell.

For even deeper conditioning, cover the hair in a plastic cap to retain moisture while sitting under the dryer for 10 minutes, then rise.
Maybe the extra 20 minutes is what influenced the results but more than likely my Kinky texture just needs a thicker deep conditioner. The consistancy of this product is pretty light and it smells divine. If your hair prefers lighter deep conditioners we recommend you try this product.
