The wonderful Scarlett from WonderCurl sent over their Restoring Hair Treatment – an intensive deep hair treatment that strengthens, moisturizes and smooths hair.

As always, it’s best to try new products on freshly washed hair. Also another trick I discovered from the lovely celebrity stylist Felicia Leatherwood, is to section your hair and try different products on each section. I decided to section my hair into quarters – in two of them I placed WonderCurl’s Restoring Hair Treatment and in the other two my staple deep conditioner. This way I could compare and contrast the results!

I’m a sucker for nice smelling products and this one doesn’t have the most pleasant of smells, but scent isn’t everything how the product works is obviously the most important thing. I slathered on this product into the two quarter sections and then put my hair into medium sized twists. I then covered my head in a shower cap and sat under my steamer for 20 minutes.

I washed out both deep conditioners and compared the results. The half of my hair with the WonderCurl felt great. I always like my hair to feel soft after a deep condition and it did. Softness to me indicates that my hair has been moisturized. In past experience my hair feels hard and stiff when it doesn’t take to a product.

Though this won’t replace my current deep conditioner/treatment, it is still worth testing as it may work great for your hair. For a $22 you get a 240ml which is ok but not as competitive as other brands. I’m sure as they grow their price will come down.
