Titi Branch, pictured left, has died of an apparent suicide The Washington Post reports. Titi was just 45 years old. At this time there a no additional details on her passing.
Titi, along with her sister Miko, founded one of the first major natural hair care lines Miss Jessie’s in 2004. In addition, they opened the Miss Jessie’s Curlbar salon in New York City in 1997.
We are deeply saddened by this news. Titi and Miko were trailblazers in the natural hair community and we looked up to them for their business savvy, branding and impeccable products. We’ll keep the entire Branch and Miss Jessie’s family in our prayers.
