The Bow Tie

This super cute hairstyle was made popular by the one and only Lady Gaga. Perfect for a fun night out with the girls this is look also doubles as a protective style for these upcoming harsh winter days. Whether your natural hair is long or medium length, this style is easy to achieve. The bow tie on natural hair also works for all hair density types too.

All you need are some trusty bobby pins, a snagless elastic band and a hair piece if your hair isn’t quite long enough. This style is easier if you have stretched hair (see our glossary) as you’ll be able to pull your hair up and pull it back. Gel is optional as are accessories but as Razorempress demonstrates, accessories are always more fun.
