1. What inspired you to start “Lirons D’elle”?
I started “Lirons D’elle” because I always had a passion for the writing. I wanted to share my vision and things I’d discovered… my passion for fashion, the world of the beauty and this desire for having a life increasingly more positive, with people who have the same interests.
2. How would you describe your style in 5 words?
It’s a difficult question, but, I would describe my style as Feminine, Simple, Modern, Casual and Accessible.
3. What are your Winter essentials this year?
A large scarf! I think that’s an essential this Winter.
4. What three hair products could you not live without?
Without hesitating I would say that I could not live without my olive oil mix of water (because hydration is very important) and Eco Styler Gel which enables me to structure and define my curls.
5. Are there many naturals in France?
There are more and more as the number of naturals increases which is exciting, but we are not yet on the level of the USA or other countries!
6. Who’s behind the camera taking all those wonderful photos of you?
Thank you! It’s my boyfriend who takes all the pictures. It is one moment that we adore to share together! He takes the pictures for the blog and I take pictures for his Instagram.
7. For many naturals it’s a journey to fully understand their hair. It’s a process of trail and error. What was your “Curls Understood™” moment? (The moment when you were like, “I’ve got this!”)
It’s funny because I recall exactly the day I understood what my hair needed really. I understood that I did not require a demanding super routine nor to use a multiplicity of products (even if I always like to test new products). The discovery of the application of olive oil in my hair changed and simplified completely my routine. It’s the one product which I recommend to any natural! My hair became soft, easier to handle and especially more strong and resilient.
