I transitioned almost two years ago and since I began my natural hair journey, Shea Moisture has been a Godsend. Their natural and organic products have treated and reversed my hair damaged strands.
Naturally, when I saw at my local Walgreens their new superfruit complex collection I was excited to try it out. The first product from the line I bought is their Shea Moisture 10 in 1 Masque for $12.99.

Can’t be mad at that! The main ingredients are a blend of red raspberry ketones, goji, acai and guava, macula oil (helps hair’s elasticity) and the curly girl’s beloved biotin (for strength).
Upon applying the deep conditioner to my curly hair, I couldn’t help but fall in love with the smell! The aroma is so sweet. I personally think that’s where the anti-stress component comes in ;) The consistency is very creamy. I applied it to damp hair and my hair immediately began to soften and smooth out – this was before going under the dryer with my plastic cap! My hair felt moisturized and I noticed the shine right away.
I followed the instructions down to a tee. After applying the product with a wide tooth comb for even distribution, I sat with a plastic cap under the dryer for at least 30 minutes. Afterwards I followed up by rinsing and diffusing with a hair dryer.
Viola! I loved the results. My hair started out dry and limp and came out soft and fabulous. The deep conditioner left my hair super soft and shiny. Shea moisture has done it again and never fails to surprise me. I definitely recommend this product.
