I finally used the Felicia Leatherwood Detangling Brush! I was NOT paid for this review. Nor did I receive any products in exchange for this review. I used it on the kinkiest section of my daughter’s hair and I loved it.
I followed our normal detangling routine. After shampooing, I lathered her hair with our favorite conditioner, Trader Joe’s Tee Tree Tingle. Then I placed her hair into sections. With each section I used the brush, gently on the ends, working my way up the hair.
I have to say that Tiffany and I shed fewer tears. The Felicia Leatherwood detangling brush did make it much easier to detangle her hair. There was minimal shedding and no breakage. It took about 35 minutes to complete her entire head, but she has a LOT of hair. I also kept the sections relatively small.
Overall I would recommend this brush for type 4, kinky natural hair. It worked wonderfully on my daughter’s kinkiest section which is 4b. Highly recommend it!
