As I Am Leave In Conditioner is on average $8-$10 so its typically a little expensive for the natural ladies that are on a budget but with this product a little goes along way. The leave in conditioner is natural and safe for color treated hair and feels a little watery but has a lot of slip that many naturals would be looking for. It’s very hydrating along with moisturizing and goes great with the LOC (Lotion, Oil, Cream) method.
It can also be used for helping strengthen hair, seals the cuticle layer, adds moisture and shine, prepares hair for styling, and it helps ease combing your hair when wet.
Some of the key ingredients that the leave in conditioner has is coconut, green tea, lemon, sugar cane, amla, and apple. These ingredients put together can provide all the things that your curls, coils, and waves need to shine and stay moisturized.
I usually would use it after I deep condition and detangle with it and wear my hair out air dried to have a big curly afro. Also I’ll use it for my twist outs and styling my updo’s as well.
Overall, I would give this leave in conditioner two thumbs up! Literally this has saved my natural hair life. I really like this product for newly naturals that want that extra moisture along with shine.
