There are many naturals walking around in Netherlands, probably because we have so many people of mixed heritage. We have more than 150 nationalities in Amsterdam alone! Nevertheless, I think that it’s still hard to try different kinds of products because they are not readily available in many places.
Unlike the United States, the products in the drugstores and supermarkets are more focused on wavy hair and the products in the beauty supply stores are more focused on relaxed hair. In the last couple of years, that has changed and the beauty supply stores have added many more curly products and brands, but in my opinion it still isn’t enough. So, I have listed a couple of websites where I buy my natural hair products.
My Natural Curls
My Natural Curls is a Dutch website with brands like Shea Moisture, Jessicurl and Curls to name a few. They deliver very fast in the Netherlands but it may take a few days for other European countries. Also, shipping is free above €60 spent in the Netherlands. You can pay with iDeal, credit card and Paypal.
Beauty Bay
Beauty Bay is a British website that offers products from Ouidad, CHI, KeraCare and many other professional salon products. In addition, there are no shipping costs on all orders above €13 and they ship worldwide. You can pay with different kind of credit cards.
Curly Emporium
Curly Emporium is also a British website that has a lot of natural hair brands. They stock Shea Moisture, Kinky Curly, Giovanni, Curlformers and many more. The shipping starts at approximately €10 and the more products you purchase, the higher shipping costs become. They ship worldwide and you can pay by credit card or paypal.
Beauty by Zara
Beauty by Zara is a British site offering products from many natural hair brands like Miss Jessie’s, Camille Rose Naturals, DevaCurl and many more. They also offer new products lines pretty soon after they launch in the United States. As for shipping, they operate the same as Curly Emporium and they also ship worldwide. You can pay by credit card or paypal.
Locken Idol
Locken Idol is a German website that also offers a lot of natural hair brands like Tresemme, DevaCurl, Carol’s Daughter and more. Nevertheless, they have pretty high shipping costs and it is only possible to pay by paypal unless you you live in Germany.
