Dyeing my hair was one of the best things I ever did. I absolutely love how vibrant and full of life my hair is. There are just so many benefits to having color, my friends can always find me in a crowd, I don’t need to accessorize because my hair is the accessory, and I can walk down a street and always be complimented. ;) All jokes aside, there are quite a few reasons you should dye your hair soon:
1. It’s a great way to change your look
I dyed my hair because I was tired of it. I’ve had the same length and color since I came out the womb! I was starting my first year of college and I wanted change, so I decided to go for it. I went all out and dyed it purple, but you don’t have to choose a crazy color. No matter what, your look will change instantly.
2. You can choose from so many colors and styles
The possibilities are endless! Blues, reds, shades of purple, there are so many colors and styles to experiment with. Try highlights, vibrant tips, or a colorful ombre. Not only can you change your look, but if you want you can change your look multiple times!
3. Not only will your hair look gorgeous, but it’s fun to do!
Not to say your hair isn’t already fabulous, but with a new dye job your hair could look even better! Plus it’s just such a fun process. It’s cool to see how your hair transitions from it’s natural color to something completely new. I remember when I was dyeing my hair I was so excited. As I was putting the dye on my hair, I couldn’t help but smile as I thought about what the finished result would look like. It’s a very worthwhile experience.
If there’s any advice I could give to you about dyeing your hair, it would be go for it! Just take a chance. Find a picture of a color you think you like. Ask your friends what they think, and when you’re ready bring that picture to a hairstylist and leave it in their hands. The risk is definitely worth it.
