We’ve covered The Curly Fro before but what is a Coily Fro you might ask? Well it’s that wonderful day 3 afro you get after finger coiling your hair. We spotted this great finger coils on natural hair tutorial from Bumble and bumble‘s Invisible Oil Line.
Finger coils are super easy to do on your own hair – they just take time (and a little practice). One great tip that Mischa gives in the video is to leave the roots untwisted to make the style fuller (1:00 mark). This is encouraged for finer textures.
Also, you can make the finger coils bigger by sectioning the hair into medium parts but the smaller the finger coils are the longer this style will last. See photo below by Herbal Essences…
