Hello Curlfriends! I have recently started a project on my YouTube channel called Project “Use It Up”. This project is to not only get me out a product junkie relapse but also help me save money. I have currently been “Using Up” Shea Moisture’s Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen Renew, Grow & Restore Shampoo and let me tell ya, it has been giving my hair so much life! Although I do not use a lot of shampoo the size of the bottle works great. It’s slightly larger than their other shampoo’s. This shampoo lathers up so well which is a plus in my book.
The most interesting fact about this shampoo is that it not only contains Shea Butter but also Apple Cider Vinegar, which clarifies your hair as it moisturizes it. Clarifying your natural hair is very important so that you can wash out any product build up you may have accumulated over the week due to oils and gels. My hair did not feel stripped at all and my hair felt very soft and moisturized.
The Shea Moisture JBCO Strengthen Renew, Grow, & Restore Shampoo is for Color Treated and Heat Styled hair. I recently colored my hair so that is a plus for my weekly natural hair regimen. The only thing negative that I can say about this shampoo is that the smell is not as inviting as Shea Moistures other products are. But it’s definitely bearable. I bought my Shea Moisture JBCO Strengthen Renew, Grow & Restore Shampoo at my local CVS during a BOGO sale.
If you are looking for an awesome shampoo that will leave your hair clean, moisturized and shiny, this shampoo will work for you. On a scale of 1-10 I give Shea Moistures JBCO Strengthen Renew, Grow & Restore Shampoo a 9.5. My hair feels amazing on wash day and I know that my hair is completely clean of any residue of previous products I’ve used throughout the week. Throughout my “Use it Up” Project I will be writing notes of the products that I absolutely loved and this shampoo will be a staple!

My name is Lola and I really need help! I am suffering from thinning, tons of breakage, dull, lifeless hair and I just don’t know what to do. My hair is relaxed every 4-5 months. I have been using KeraCare products for dry and itchy scalp which my stylist recommends. I use the Over the last few months, I have noticed tons of breakage and I need help trying to restore and manage this mess. Recently I purchased the Shea Moisture grow and restore shampoo and conditioner line however my stylist doesn’t think i should change from KeraCare. I just want healthy, soft, full hair.
