My reclaimed “baby hairs” are a direct result of my postpartum shedding. I have learned to accept them as my son is a year old and I still haven’t seen much growth in my hairline area. Rewind to 3 months ago. I was roaming the aisles of Target trying to find a product fix as most of us usually do before wash day and my eye was drawn to the Pantene section. Zoom in and there it is, Pantene Pro-V Stylers Texturizing Sculpting Wax!!! You guys!!! This stuff is sooooooo good. I was drawn in by the smell and once I actually used it I was hooked. On to the PROS and CONS…
PROS
The SMELL: so fresh and you can smell it intermittently throughout the day. The product has out of this world HOLD. It claims to last 24 hrs and although I haven’t stayed up to test it for 24 hours, I believe them!
A little goes a very long way. It’s a PUTTY consistency so once you smooth it through your hair it’s in there. Which leads me to my next point… It is perfect for my 4A-C/kinky hair, ladies. I have tried countless edge tamers and controls. My hair drinks that stuff up and goes on about its day. This product is the answer to our prayers.
CONS
Using too much will lead to some major PRODUCT BUILD UP. So be sparing. Highly ADDICTIVE, so give those edges a break. Too much brushing and slicking and you won’t have anything to brush or slick!
If you can’t already tell I am completely committed to this product. I even went as far to retry some other edge tamers I tried in the past and this product beats them hands down! I am even curious about how it would work on my ends for a twist out or even a coil out. We shall see. So head down to your local Target and try it out, especially if you haven’t found a product that meets your “slicking” needs.
