Ever heard of Ossat Naturals? This awesome brand literally fell into my lap! OSSAT stands for Olive Oil, Shea Butter, Sunflower Oil, Argan Oil and Tea Tree. These products are said to restore, replenish, and soften the hair, while also refraining from the use of petrolatum, mineral oil, sulfates, parabens, synthetic fragrances alcohol, phosphates and phthalates. This blend of ingredients also adds shine, reduces frizz and conditions the hair.
The OSSAT Deeper Moisture Mask is ideal for those who have dry, brittle and damaged hair. It contains keratin protein that repairs and strengthens the hair shaft to help prevent breakage and maintain healthy hair. This mask would be most effective on those who are transitioning from relaxed to natural hair. It truly makes the hair silky and provides enough slip for detangling.
After a relaxing one week vacation in Turks and Caicos, I really needed to deep condition my hair. The night I got back home, I shampooed my hair then applied the OSSAT Deeper Moisture Mask. This thick, creamy mask was smooth going into my hair and the smell was amazing. I could finger detangle my hair easily, which is always a plus for me. I left this mask on my hair for about 45 minutes with great results.
The following week, I again applied the mask to my hair, but this time I sat under a hair steamer to see if there would be a difference. Once again, I was incredibly satisfied with the results. With or without the hair steamer, my hair was soft to the touch and well-hydrated.
I love this product and highly recommend this to transitioners, and those with kinky, curly or wavy hair. If you are looking for an improvement in your curls, this deep conditioner is the way to go. You will be able to find OSSAT at select Walmarts, but can also purchase the product online and in bulk. With its hydrating and de-tangling properties, I give this mask a 10.
