The MopTop Deep Conditioner with the Lavender Mint scent was the second product I used of the two I was sent as a Curly Ambassador. You can read the first review of the Co-wash Conditioner here. Between the two products’ scent, the lavender has a calming effect on the body and mind while the mint has a clarifying and refreshing effect. Making Mop Top’s Deep Conditioner is a great way to relax while conditioning your hair.
How I applied the Deep Conditioner was the same as the Co-wash Cleansing Conditioner. I sectioned my hair into four applying the product from the root to the ends. The same amount was used for each section (about the size of a Reese cup).
I then tied my locs up on the top of my head with a scarf and left the deep conditioner in for 3-5 mins. I also used the same process to deep condition my daughter’s hair but instead of wrapping her hair up, I took the time to comb through the sections of hair with a wide tooth comb.
With the Deep Conditioner, its consistency is amazing for my hair texture. Easy to apply and worked well to detangle my daughter’s ends and conditioner our hair. This Deep Conditioner was great! Rinsing it out was manageable too. I would most definitely suggest this for kids as well. On a scale of 1-10 I give MopTop’s HairCare Deep Conditioner 10 for it’s scent, consistency, ingredients,
conditioning and rinsing abilities. I would purchase the product to replace my current conditioner.
WHAT IT SAYS ON THE BOTTLE
This product is great for the occasional deep conditioning. It is great for daily use for extremely dry frizzy or kinky-coily hair, and restores moisture and manageability.
• Made with natural humectants and rich conditioning botanicals.
• Protects and tames hair using sea botanicals and honey.
• Hydrates efficiently by increasing the absorption rate through hair layers.
• Penetrates the hair, which builds up the moisture content and helps prevent split ends. The result is soft, silky hair.
