Let me jump right to it. This was not one of my favorite leave ins. I have kinky, fine textured hair so I’d heard this thicker product would be better for me…. not the case. Miss Jessie’s Leave In Condish has a strong smell – one you either love or hate – and its consistency is pretty dense.

I applied the sample packet I had to my freshly washed hair and let it dry. I knew as soon as I applied the product it wouldn’t be pretty. My hair wouldn’t even absorb the product. It also took forever to dry and once it did my hair was stiff. I had to spritz it with water to get some movement back!

I’ve heard other naturals rave about how great this product is, especially those with Curly and Wavy textures but it just didn’t do anything for my tresses. I love Miss Jessie’s Baby Butter Creme and Rapid Recovery Deep Treatment but they aren’t cheap. At $11 for 8oz of Leave-in I need a product to work miracles. My recommendation would be to get your hands on a sample packet or purchase their sample size (1oz) for $2 before committing to the full sized product.
