In 1997 sisters Titi and Miko opened Miss Jessie’s CurlBar natural hair salon in New York City to respond to the demand for expertise in natural hair. Their experience with curly hair started over 20 years ago. Born to a Japanese mother and African-American father Titi and Miko had a head full of natural hair that was multi-textured.

CurlBar offers quick salon services at great prices open Wednesday – Friday. Just cuts, styling and color. No Silkeners (chemical service) . Miss Jessie’s Salon is a full service salon open Saturdays and by appointment only.
