RECIPES

Depending on your hair and scalp you will want to make a scrub that is more conducive to your hairs current needs. I know for me, I have a very sensitive scalp that experiences product build up very easily. My scalp also gets very irritated if I add too many heavy oils or creams. I use scalp exfoliators in my regimen when I feel it’s needed, and I always do it before I wash (or cowash) and deep condition my hair. I would recommend doing this before you wash your hair too, so you can rinse out all of the scrub from your strands. However you have to do what you feel will work best for your hair.

So I have comprised a list of DIY Scalp exfoliates that you can try on your next wash day!
