Feels Sulphate-Free But With Sulphates

I usually never buy sulfate shampoo’s because they dry out my curls and cause a lot of tangles. However, I found myself in need of a good sulfate shampoo to remove product buildup, since I do use products with silicones. Since I’ve had good experiences with the Creme of Nature brand, I decided to try their Kiwi & Citrus Ultra Moisturizing Shampoo.

I rinsed my hair with cold water and detangled in sections before I started to shampoo. I left my hair in the four sections and shampooed one section at the time. I immediately noticed the effect on my hair after the first section. I shampooed twice on each section and my scalp felt very clean afterwards. It has a very nice subtle smell (must be the kiwi) and not the regular soapy smell other shampoos have. After rinsing it out, the smell is almost not present anymore.

I was very pleased with the results. The shampoo lathers a lot and cleanses well without leaving my hair feeling stripped. After shampooing I could easily detangle my hair, even without a conditioner. I would definitely recommend it to anyone, even if you never use sulfate shampoos.

I will rate the product 9 out of 10 because the shampoo does not leave my hair stripped and tangled but still gets the hair squeaky clean. It feels like a sulfate free shampoo but is actually a shampoo with sulfates. I would definitely buy it again since this is the best shampoo I encountered and I would also recommend everybody else try it!
