Alikay Naturals: Lemongrass Leave In Conditioner

I was first introduced to this product in a subscription box. There was an Alikay Naturals takeover and the Lemongrass Leave In was one of the full sized products. I am so happy it came in that box otherwise I would have never experienced the magic. An 8oz bottle is $13 and a 16oz is $20! However, I will not that I’m a firm believer in cost-efficient products and those prices are not cost efficient. That said this product is where I might break my rules. When it comes to this leave-in, quality wins out over quantity.

Now on to the review: this product is ahhhhhhhhhhmazing! You get leave-in! You get leave-in! You get leave-in! I cannot and will NOT stop raving. If you purchase nothing else I recommend, purchasing this. It smells great, it works great, it IS great.

My hair literally melts when I put this product in my hair. I can feel an immediate difference and the difference is moisture (makes sense after all since water is the first ingredient). The first time I used it I attributed the moisture to my pregnancy hormones being that I was around 5 or 6 months pregnant at the time. But here I am 7 months post partum and it still has amazing effects. It is the equivalent of hair therapy. It completely disseminates all of the years of abuse, negligence and exploitation you’ve put your hair through. And if that wasn’t enough it smells sooooooo good. I love natural products, but sometimes they have a tendency to smell like the inside of a carrot sack. This leave-in smells like lemon heads and sunshine. I love it!

Now because I am an absolute skeptic I had to try out a competing leave-in. I turned to Soultanicals. I enjoyed the Kink Drink but it just didn’t have the same kick as Alikay Naturals. I had to go back to my holy grail and I have to say I’m here to stay. I even bought to $20 bottle as my replacement. So we know the commitment is very real! I would highly recommend this product to naturals of all ages, stages and phases. It is truly a lifetime product.
