5 DIY Vegan Hair Masks You Have To Try

Avocado Banana Lemon for Rejuvenation

Peel 1 ripe banana and ½ avocado and place into a blender or mixer.
Squeeze in some fresh lemon juice.
Blend until smooth.
Smooth the mixture into your hair in sections then put on a shower cap.
Leave the mixture in for up to 30 minutes and rinse with cool water.

Avocado Apple Cider Vinegar for Protein

Mash 1 ripe avocado until it’s smooth.
Mix in 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar.
Add water so the mixture isn’t too thick.
Section hair, smooth mixture in, then put a shower cap on for 10-15 minutes and rinse with cool water.

Coconut Milk and Olive Oil for Moisture

Measure 1 tablespoon of coconut milk.
Add 1 teaspoon of olive oil.
Use warm water to mix all ingredients.
Rake the mixture into hair leave in for 5 -10 minutes, allowing your hair to absorb the moisture.

Banana Mask for Frizz and Tangling

Peel 1 ripe banana.
Measure 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
Add 1 tablespoon of coconut oil.
Mix in 1 tablespoon of honey.
Blend all ingredients together until mixture is smooth.
Apply before shampooing and let sit for 5-10 minutes.

Oatmeal Mask for Dry Itchy Scalp

Measure 1 tablespoon of oats.
Add 1 tablespoon of almond milk.
Mix in 1 tablespoon of almond oil or olive oil.
Combine ingredients together in a medium sized bowl.
Apply to dry hair and let it sit for 20-25 minutes and continue then shampoo or co wash as you normally would.
